She is a 46ft Norman Cross
trimaran built in England in 1980. According to the builder, Brian Lemon,
one has to compromise between speed, comfort and safety when building a boat!
He built his 3rd boat (formerly s/v Triune) with Safety first,
then Comfort and last Speed. She is definitely safe and unsinkable since she
is built in wood and has insulation and other floating devices. She is very
comfortable with headroom in all 3 hulls, 3 double cabins with private head
(marine toilet) and sink. The salon sits 6 people easily and the boat is well
ventilated. At an average cruising speed of 5 knots, we cannot consider her
too slow either! Good job, Brian. We bought her in St Maarten and have maintained
her in peak condition since then. Brian may have a surprise if he saw all
the modifications and improvements we made in those last 13 years ! We can
accommodate 2 couples in the most comfortable way. I forgot to mention that
the 3 single cabins we have too, are used as spare parts room and workshop.
We can day sail with 25 passengers easily so you can imagine the deck space
for your relaxation exercises (or plain napping!). Easy swimplatform and shower
on the transom and a 12ft RIB (rigid Inflatable bottom) dinghy to take easily
6 people with diving gear. Equipped for fishing (trolling), scuba diving (tanks,
gear & compressor)
Since 1984, we have accumulated
together a tremendous experience of cruising in the warm oceans. We have cruised
the Caribbean & South Pacific for the last 16 years. We have worked as
captains, managers on charter boats, dive boats, … and even as sports directors
on cruise ships. Our teaching background is very valuable in our practical
seminars as one has to be able to pass his experience along
